Allergen information

Every cake is made to order. Ingredients and allergens vary according to the chosen sponge, filling, decoration, topper and personalisation, so the allergen information for your particular cake will be confirmed directly before the order is accepted.

Tell Anila before ordering

Please disclose every allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement when enquiring, even if you believe the ingredient will not form part of the design. We may need to ask further questions before deciding whether the order can be safely accepted.

Allergens handled

The kitchen handles ingredients containing regulated allergens, which may include cereals containing gluten (including wheat), eggs, milk, nuts, peanuts, soya and sulphites. Other regulated allergens may be present in particular ingredients, decorations or customer-requested products. This is not the allergen declaration for a specific cake.

Cross-contamination

Although care is taken when preparing every order, the kitchen is not an allergen-free environment. We therefore cannot guarantee that a cake is completely free from traces of an allergen. Suitability will be considered individually and we may decline an order where we cannot safely meet the stated requirements.

Before eating

Written allergen information will be supplied or confirmed for the finished cake at collection or delivery. The person placing the order is responsible for passing this information to everyone who may eat the cake. Do not serve the cake to anyone with an allergy unless the information has been checked and understood.

Decorations and non-edible items

Cakes may contain dowels, supports, wires, ribbons, toppers or other non-edible decorative items. Instructions about safe removal will be given where applicable and must be passed to the person cutting and serving the cake.
